  • Yes, we have been asked this question several times. Enough times for it to make the FAQ list.

    They will likely be given to family. The hens and the baby doll sheep, Ramsbey, are probably a package deal. LOL!

  • No, they don’t. As long-term, full-time missionaries, we are essentially considered self-employed and responsible for raising all our financial support.

  • Yes!  We are moving.  There are a lot of details to work out such as housing, but we are trusting God will provide the right opportunity at the right time.

  • We anticipate being in Hendersonville, NC 3- 5 years before moving to the next site. Crisis Response focuses on building long-term relationships.  We stay until there are no more homeowners wanting help, no more volunteer teams coming, and/or the local church can no longer support us using their space.

  • We hope to be full-time long-term by October 1, but it largely depends on how quickly we can establish our partnership team and wrap things up in Nebraska (transition Josh’s business ventures and Sarah’s position at work).

  • They do!  And they also stay in their home countries.  According to Wikipedia, a missionary is “a member of a religious group who is sent into an area in order to promote its faith or provide services to people, such as education, literacy, social justice, health care, and economic development.”  Our mission field is natural disasters impacting families in the United States.
